• “Superstar K” auditions taking over the world?

Well, not exactly.

But auditions will be held in Los Angeles, California on June 26, 2010. They will take place in the “CGV LA” in Koreatown or K-town. This will be the first “Superstar K” audition occuring in a foreign nation.

Kim Yong-bum CP of “Superstar K” stated that the producers decided to go to Los Angeles because many people requested for auditions outside of the United States and many present-day artists in South Korea are from foreign nations.
The LA audition will have the same rules and regulations as the ones held in Korea, allowing everyone and anyone from the ages of 1  to 99 who can sing in Korean to try out. The only difference would be that the first round will not be a ARS/UCC round, but rather people will register and audition right afterwards on the 26th. Once a person passes the audition on the 26th, he or she will be granted the chance to audition for the second round on the 17th. After passing both rounds, he or she will be given a chance to participate in “SuperWeek”, competing against the best of the best from all parts of the Korean peninsula.
“Superstar K” Season 2 will start airing on July 23, 2010.
For the musically talented individuals in the Los Angeles area or other parts of the United States, this is your chance to make your dreams to come true!
