[Picture] Park Bo-young considered for lead in upcoming drama “Playful Kiss”

Park Bo-young, actress well-known for playing the role of a teenage mom in the movie “Speedy Scandal”, is being considered for the female lead for the upcoming drama “Playful Kiss”.

“Playful Kiss” is a drama adapted from a popular Japanese manga, “Itazura na Kiss”. The manga has already been turned into an anime series as well as a Taiwanese drama titled “It Started With a Kiss”. Group Eight, known for its previous work, “Boys Over Flowers”, is producing this project. A representative from the company revealed that besides Park Bo-young, around 100 people tried out for the female lead role and that the final casting will be revealed in late June.

Once the casting is finalized, shooting will start in July.
