Rain and Jun Ji-hyun have been reported to be dating for a year by an entertainment newspaper on June 10, 2010.
Rain has put up a stronger front, expressing that such rumors are not true, while Jun Ji-hyun’s management has replied that they are still checking and making sure with the actress.
Rain has strongly denied the rumors during a recent interview stating that the scandal is not true and he has only met Jun Ji-hyun a few times regarding a drama (most likely “Runaway”). He also continued by stating that the ring that he wears is a family ring, and that he will even put up a picture of his father and sister’s ring on his twitter to prove that fact. Rain’s management company, J.Tune Entertainment, is upset at the fact that Rain’s privacy is being violated and stated that it will take legal actions.
Different from Rain and his management, Jun Ji-hyun is remaining silent. But then again, she is not in the spotlight these days. She is currently working on a film titled “Snow Flower and Secret Fan”, which will be released in 2011.
Rain and Jun Ji-hyun’s reactions are so different that it is hard to tell whether the scandal is true. But regardless, their privacy and rights should be protected. It is often malicious rumors that lead to the end of a beautiful relationship, whether it be friendship or more.
