According to Pledis Entertainment, 8-member group After School will be divided in 3 units and resume activities. While Uee gets ready for her upcoming drama “Birdie Buddy,” the remaining seven will continue promoting with two 3-member groups and one solo.
Pledis stated, “The exact configuration of members is still unknown. Through these divided units, we wish to successfully promote each individual.”
After School members stated, “We were very tired and exhausted when we were preparing for our latest single ‘Bang.’ Through these units, we wish to resume activities ‘together but also separately’ and really expose a new and unique image.”
So, what do you guys think? I personally thought they were doing pretty well as a whole. Let’s hope this “separation” leads to great results and not an actually separation.
On the 21st, a video that caught G-Dragon elbowing Seungri hit the web by storm. The act was captured during the Hyundai CF shooting of Big Bang’s Shouting Korea with ice princess Kim Yuna. In the scene, Big Bang members and Kim Yuna had to act out a cheering scene. However, during the scene, Seungri unintentionally hits G-Dragon, who is in front of him. G-Dragon, annoyed, turns around and gives two strong elbows to Seungri’s chest. The video now focuses on the two. Many interpreted the incident as a playful elbow, but on the looks of their faces, they both seem pissed. Check out the video

Tae-joon‘s KBS drama “Please Marry Me” is set to hit TV screens soon, and the talented actor has recently transformed himself. ”Please Marry Me” is about four couples getting married while they share the same place of residence. MBLAQ member G.O. recently talked about his decision to shave off his signature mustache for their comeback single “Y.”
G.O.’s mustache has been his trademark since his debut, especially since no other artist in Kpop have facial hair.
In an interview, G.O. said- “I wanted to show a different look to me. At first when I shaved it off it felt awkward and a pity but now I look neater and younger than before so I think it’s good,” he also joked, “Now I have become ‘idol-like’.”

2PM’s Nichkhun and f(x)’s Victoria will be the next idol couple participating in MBC’s “We got Married.” The anticipation is high since they will be the first foreign couple!
The foreign idol pairing is a great idea since Nichkhun is Thai while Victoria is Chinese, so it’ll be fun to see how they bring their own cultures into the Korean limelight.
Meanwhile, the current 2 couples on the show are (2PM) Jo Kwon and (Brown Eyed Girls) GaIn, and (SNSD) SeoHyun and (CN Blue) Jung YongHwa.
Nichkhun and Victoria have started filming and will join as the 3rd couple on the show.
